Nagaland CM visits Konyak Heritage Site in Mon

Mon, January 20 (MExN): Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio visited the Konyak Heritage Site at Mon on January 20. 
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Minister of Forests, Environment & Climate Change and Village Guard, CL John, and President NDDP, Chingwang Konyak, stated a DIPR report. 

A DIPR report stated that speaking to the gathering, Rio expressed his gratitude to all the participants, administration, Civil Societies, Landowners, workers for bringing up the works thus far. He said unity and cooperation are essential for development in any society. Rio encouraged the people to cooperate and continue to support to complete the works in the heritage site. He emphasised on quality control to carry out the work properly and complete it on time, and reminded the concerned departments for the electricity and water supply connectivity in the Heritage Site. 

Rio also informed that all the constructions will be completed within two months and is expected to be inaugurated in the first week of April 2025.

Konyak Union, President, Tingtok Konyak shared a welcoming address while the Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS thanked the Chief Minister and his team for their visit. Short speech was also delivered by the Konyak Heritage Management Community.
