Kohima, July 6 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has constituted a State Level Committee for coordination and necessary logistic arrangement for the upcoming Chess Olympiad Torch Relay, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, to be held at Kohima on July 11.
The Committee will be headed by Addl. Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports (YRS) and the Nodal Officer with Joint Secretary YRS and Secretary and members including representative of Home Commissioner, representative of AHOD, Transport Department, Representative of the AHOD IPR, Director YRS, Director IPR, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Senior Superintendent of Police Kohima, Chief Medical Officer Kohima, President Nagaland Chess Association/Representative, Mughaho Awomi AICF venue in charge, Director i/c NYKS, State NSS Officer, and District Public Relations Officer Kohima.
A DIPR report has informed that the meeting of all the members is scheduled to be held on July 7 at 12:00 noon in the Office Chamber of the Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports.
