Nagaland Conservatory of Music collaborates with Toccata Music Production

Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM) in collaboration with Toccata Music Production, a non profitable Organisation based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK, performed from August 9 to 11 at Kolkata. The 84 member combined choirs performed in various locations in the city, culminating with a grand concert at Tollygunge Club, Kolkata.

Abigail Odyuo, PRO, NCM in a press note stated that Toccata is a group of professional and semi-professional UK based musicians, united in the mission to use their collective talents to help support both existing and new charities in their philanthropic endeavours. Although primarily based in the United Kingdom the group travels far and wide to perform, particularly to developing nations, with the express aim of addressing issues of poverty and deprivation.

For the singers of Nagaland Conservatory of Music, it was an enriching experience by way of getting to interact and share cultural experiences with the visiting artistes, both artistically and personally, thus broadening their experiences.
