Nagaland consumer commission assumes office

Kohima, January 5 (MExN): The Nagaland State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (State Commission) office was officially taken charge by Justice Hukato Swu on January 5. 

Swu, a judge of Guwahati High Court Kohima Bench, assumed the charge the presence of the Joint Controller & HOD K Takeeth Imchen, Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection Department, Nagaland. 

After taking charge, Swu , who is the President  of  the Nagaland State Consumer Disputes Redressal, assured to take up all consumer cases currently filed and pending vigorously, a press release informed.  

He further has sought cooperation from all District Consumer Forum offices and assured the citizens that consumer cases will be heard timely without fail, it added.
