
Dimapur, November 2 (MExN): Nagaland reported 9 new COVID-19 positive cases out of 699 sample tests and one more fatality on Tuesday, the health department’s daily bulletin informed. Four of the new cases were reported from Kohima, three from Dimapur and two from Wokha district. The fatality was reported from Kohima, taking the COVID-19 death toll to 671, excluding 15 other deaths that were categorised as ‘Non COVID deaths (with COVID positivity). The state also reported 18 single-day recoveries—13 from Dimapur, four from Wokha, and one from Kohima district. This takes the cumulative tally of infections to 31,868, out of which 29,932 have recovered from the disease and 205 are active cases.
