Kohima, April 30 (MExN): Nagaland Dance Fiesta organized its 5th edition of International Dance Day celebration on April 29 at CT SQUARE shopping complex, Chümoukedima.
The event witnessed a Street Dance Battle, ‘1 vs 1 Open Style Battle’ in which Rama from Assam bagged the first prize with a cash of Rs 8000.
The second prize with a cash prize of Rs 4000 was bagged by Acham from Dimapur.
Vishal Pawar from Assam bagged third place and walked away with a cash prize of Rs 3000
A total of 30 participants took part in the battle. The judge of the event was Rix from Dimapur while Shang was the emcee of the battle.
The event also featured a special performance by Meyitemsu and Nishan.
Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director of Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) grace the occasion. The event was supported by TaFMA and PAWF, Nagaland and Cinematixx as the event partner and production partner respectively.
