Dimapur, October 13(MExN): Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Soundararajan has partially modified an earlier notification on the total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Kukidolong imposed from today for restoration works.
The restriction will be imposed from 12 noon of October 13 to 12 noon of October 14, instead of October 15 as notified earlier, stated in a new circular from the DC.
“The restriction is necessitated as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property,” it said.
The DC informed that only light vehicles travelling between Dimapur and Kohima can take the alternative route via 7th Mile – New DC office – Shokhuvi – Razaphe – Mhaikam – Pimla – Jhornapani/Medziphema, and vice-versa.
