Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): The Department of Posts will be celebrating National Postal Week under the theme ‘#Together for Trust’ from October 9 to 13.
An update from the Superintendent of Posts, Nagaland stated that National Postal Week is an annual event that holds a special place in our hearts as it highlights the pivotal role of postal services in fostering connectivity, trust, and transparency in society.
This year’s theme, ‘#Together for Trust’ resonates deeply with the core values of the postal sector, emphasizing our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable information to every corner of our nation, the release stated.
This year, the celebrations of National postal week have been designed in line with the emerging role of India Post in the socio and economic development of the nation. With focus on as Vittiya Sashaktikaran (Financial empowerment), Mail & parcel services like DNK (Dak Ghar Niryaat Kendra), ONDP, tie up with Amazon and other retailers, bouquet of services for Antyodaya, National Postal Week 2023’s activities are designed to inform and educate the last mile user, MSMEs and artisans about the changing role of post offices as one stop solution for delivery of services.
“We invite citizens, businesses, and communities to participate actively in National Postal Week celebrations,” the Superintendent of Posts added.
