Dimapur, August 31 (MExN): The service and inter-cadre deputation tenure of Nagaland Director General of Police T John Longkumer has been extended for a period of six months. According to an order addressed to Nagaland Chief Secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the extension of service as well as extension of inter cadre deputation tenure of Longkumer from Chhattisgarh Cadre to Nagaland Cadre “for a period of 6 months beyond his date of superannuation, i.e. August 31, 2022 in relaxation of Rule 16 (1) of the AIS (DCRB) Rules, 1958, in public interest.”
