Kohima, October 7 (MExN): A seminar cum training was organized by National Oral Health Programme for Dental Surgeon under State, NHM & NOHP at IDSP Conference Hall, DoHFW on October 7.
DoHFW Principal Director, Dr K Vikato Kinimi, addressing as the chief guests mentioned that dental is equally an important aspect of Health just as the rest of practices are important, stated a press release issued by IEC Bureau, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Nagaland.
During the occasion, Dr N Moa Jamir, Sr Dental Surgeon, DH Kiphire was awarded the Principal Director Commendation Certificate 2021-2022 in recognition of his service beyond the call of duty. Dr Sabino Kuotso, Sr Dental Surgeon DH Peren was also awarded in acknowledgement of her achievement for being the First Female Dental Surgeon of Nagaland.

The topics covered included Medical Emergencies in Dental OPD, Oral Cancer Screening, Orthodontics: an overview & Management of Childhood Dental Diseases.
