
Kohima, January 10 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE), Nagaland on Tuesday reminded the heads of all government schools functioning within the State of Nagaland that no admission fee and exam fee should be collected from students up to Class VIII.
In a notice issued through the state DIPR on Tuesday, the DoSE drew attention to the Office’s June 16, 2022 Notification pertaining to the fee structure which is to be followed in government schools functioning within the State. The government schools include Government Higher Secondary Schools, High Schools, Middle Schools and Primary Schools.
“It is reiterated that No Admission Fee and Exam fee shall be collected from students up to Class VIII except that to be paid to the NBSE as per RTE Act, 2009. The order is for strict compliance by all concerned,” the notice stated.
