Dimapur, December 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Drums Festival, organised by Vivezza Music Studio in association with TaFMA and Naga Drummers League, was held on December 16 last at RCEMPA, Kohima.
The Nagaland Drums Festival Competition 2023 was also held as part of the event. In the Senior Category the winner was Marcus Sophie from Nagaland. In the Junior Category, the winners were Riddhiman Bora- Assam, Riiguotuolie Pichurii- Nagaland and Simanta Pratim Borah – Assam in the first, second and third position respectively.
The prize for the Senior Category, Roland Td 02kv was sponsored by Galaxy Digital Pvt Ltd and the prizes for the Junior Category was sponsored by RSI India and Gretex.
Naga Drummers League President, Dr Wabang Pongener in a press release has thanked the prize sponsors. Arindam Saha, Brand Manager, Roland V Drums, PDP and Zildjian were also present during the festival.
