Dimapur, February 19 (MExN): All officials/staff appointed as Presiding Officer 1st Polling Officer, 2nd Polling Officer and 3rd Polling Officer under Chümoukedima and Niuland Districts in connection with the forthcoming general election are informed that the third round of third round of training will be held from February 22.
The Deputy Commissioner Chümoukedima Abhinav Shivam in a circular informed that all officials/staff appointed as Polling Personnel are deemed to be on deputation to the Election Commission of India and shall be subjected to the control, superintendence and discipline of the Commission.
Accordingly, all the Heads of the Departments (Offices under Chümoukedima and Niuland Districts were directed to depute all the listed officials under their respective establishment to attend the training positively.
