Dimapur, January 13: The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Nagaland participated in the 1st ever Assam International Agri-Horti Show 2014 held at Khanapara Veterinary College, Guwahati with its main objective being to exhibit the diverse range of crops grown in various districts of Nagaland including indigenous crops and spices and its various value added products. The four daylong event kick started from January 8 to 11.

The products included cereals, pulses, horticultural crops, spices, bamboo products, honey and medicinal products. Various national Agriculture Departments and research institutions, private entrepreneurs/NGOs and international agencies from China, Canada, Nepal, Bangladesh, Israel, Italy, South Africa, Bhutan and Indonesia participated in the event. The four day event covered exhibitions, seminars, workshops, samarohs, competition of potted plants, flower arrangement, agricultural crops, salad preparation, drawing competition, quiz and documentary film shows.
