Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): Yi Nagaland Chapter jointly with the People Channel organized one of the most engaging interactive meet with Fabrice Etienne, the French Consul General of Kolkota.
A press note received here stated that the participants were from different backgrounds such as educational, tourism, students, women leaders, media, artists, civil societies etc. The main idea behind the interaction was to introduce Nagaland and openly discuss the possibilities of collaborating for future venture in business, studies or any exchange programmes.
The event started o with a welcoming speech by Rozelle Mero, Managing Director- The people Channel who also briefly introduced The People channel as a Human Resource Development Agency. Zaren Odyuo, Chair- Yi Nagaland Chapter briefly introduced Yi as an organization and its involvement regionally, nationally as well as internationally.
The speaker Fabrice Etienne addressed the gathering. He expressed his reason of wanting to more about Nagaland, the challenging aspects and probable prospects of finding ways to collaborate and cooperate in different fields by being the facilitator for potential candidates. He highlighted different possibilities of exchange programmes, EU programmes, scholarships study in France, Visa to travel in France, tourism prospects, business, sports collaboration, cultural exchange programmes, and conflict resolution programmes etc.
The participants were from the following organisations: Sky entertainment, Wooplr (Human resource agency), Patkai Christian College, Naga Student Federation, Accenture, Explore Nagaland, Chakhesang Women Association, Naga Mothers Association, LT Design, St. Josephs College, Tetso College, Nagaland University, Nagaland Conservatory of Music, Music Task Force, Entrepreneur Associates, Touch Organization, Tribal Group, and Chakhesang Women Welfare Society.
Different departments and individuals put some of the probable possibilities of collaboration or prospects that the French Government could consider forth.
