Nagaland government modifies vaccination order for employees

Kohima, August 1 (MExN): Following the Gauhati High Court’s order on July 28 directing the Nagaland government against its mandatory vaccination order for employees, the State Home Department has notified that its July 17 order stands modified until further orders. Employees of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat and Directorates, who have not taken a single dose of vaccine against COVID-19 and are required to produce COVID-19 negative test report by getting tested every 15 days through either RT-PCR/TrueNat/CBNAAT for attending office, may get tested at the Government testing facilities without any charge, the department notified on Sunday. Further, the salaries of those employees who have not taken any single dose of vaccine against COVID-19 will not be stopped beyond July 31, 2021, it added.
