Kohima, March 23 (MExN): Principal of Sainik School Punglwa, Col (Dr) Smita Misra, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, on March 22.
She was accompanied by Sqn Ldr Vimal Kr Attri, Administrative Officer, and cadets Cidibe Peter Mbung and Sahil, who have cleared the Services Selection Board (SSB) and are set to join the National Defence Academy.
During the meeting, the Principal briefed the Governor about the school’s activities and achievements. The Governor appreciated the institution’s efforts in nurturing young talent in the state.
He congratulated the two cadets on their success, presented them with traditional scarves, and wished them a bright future ahead.
The Principal also presented a school memento to the Governor during the visit.
