Governor of Nagaland, La. Ganesan during his visit to Khonoma village on April 6.

Khonoma, April 6 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, La. Ganesan visited Khonoma-the first Green village of India and Asia and held a short programme at the Community Hall Terhotsiese, Khonoma on April 6.
Speaking at the programme, the Governor said that his purpose of visiting Khonoma is “to know what people wants from the government” and urged the people to insist to the government better road connectivity, school institutions, hospital, banks etc, PRO Raj Bhavan press release stated.
The Governor informed that the Central Government provides various schemes and project to benefits the people; therefore, they should take up their requirements with the government. He acknowledged the Khonoma people for the conservation of their forest.
The Governor also visited viewpoint, Hiekha Morung and NSF Memorial.
He was accompanied by Raj Bahavan officials including C&S to Raj Bhavan, Wezope Kenye IAS, SDO Civil Sechu Zubza, Tiayanger Jamir.
