Dimapur, June 12 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has responded to the need of the Naga patients and procured land for a medical lodge at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong as well as a cemetery for the community. The Executive Committee of the Naga Elders Forum Shillong while disclosing this expressed gratitude to the state Government for the timely response.
The committee believes that these are evident expressions of the concern and farsightedness of the government. The Forum further appeals to the government to expedite the construction of the medical lodge, to alleviate the sufferings of the growing number of patients who are undergoing great difficulty concerning finding affordable and convenient accommodation. The Naga Elders Forum Shillong in a press release issued by its Chairman, Prof. Dr. Moa Lemtur and General Secretary, Henia Kholi has also expressed its appreciation to the Meghalaya government for allocating land for the medical lodge.
