The Nagaland Government will be releasing salaries of government servants by August 16. This was stated by Finance Commissioner Sentiyanger Imchen while talking to media persons on the sideline of an official function today at Kisama. Imchen informed that the delay in release of salary was due to resource crunch. He said that the State has to depend on grants from the Centre including Revenue Deficit Grant, which comes only in the first week while share of Central Taxes is received around the 10th of every month.
