Kohima, November 21 (MExN): The 10th North East Regional Dental Conference (NERDC) under the theme “Precision and excellence for optimal health care” will be held in Kohima on November 29 to 30 at the Capital Convention Center. This is for the first time such a big national level dental conference will be hosted by Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB).
10th NERDC, Kohima Organizing Committee Dr. Temjennungsang Longchari in a press release said that the NERDC is accessible to certified dental professionals, associated press, industry representatives and other stake holders in the dental equipment management and prevention of dental diseases. The registered participants will have access to all official sessions, industry sponsored exhibition. Exhibition showcasing the latest in advanced materials, equipment and technology. The conference is expecting participation of over 500 delegates.
“The Dental Surgeons in Nagaland feels the need to uplift the Oral & Dental Health Care scenario of the general population of the state and also to take up various welfare issues of the dental surgeons, and has been informally meeting together over a decade under the name of Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch. It was established in 1998,” it added.
The Coordination Committee, of the IDA Branches of Northeast Region was founded in 2010. The Committee is constituted by the member representatives of IDA State Branch of Arunachal Pradesh Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.
