Nagaland: HPC issues guidelines for Unlock 4

• Shops allowed to open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Restriction on movement from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am
• Vax proof/COVID-19 test report required for travel

Kohima, August 1 (MExN): Following its decision to continue the existing lock down measures in the State with further relaxations and re-opening of more activities, the High Power Committee (HPC) on COVID-19 directed extension of the existing lock down measures with effect from August 2 to 18.

In this regard, the HPC on Sunday issued guidelines for the fourth phase of unlock in the State.

As per the guidelines, shops have been allowed to open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The duration of the night curfew has been revised and restriction on movement will be from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am.
Takeaways/home delivery outlets will be allowed to open and function except during the curfew hours from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am. 

Buses will be allowed to ply with up to 50% occupancy and subject to both the driver and attendants being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or should have taken the first dose against COVID-19, and  that 15 days should have passed since taking the first dose.

If none of the two aforesaid criteria is fulfilled, then the driver/attendant should carry a COVID-19 negative test report taken through either RT-PCR/TrueNat or CBNAAT with the swab taken for testing not earlier than 15 days, the order stated. 

Inter-district bus service/Taxi service has also been allowed subject to the conditions as mentioned above and in addition, the passengers should also be either fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or should have taken the first dose against COVID-19; and 15 days should have passed since taking the first dose. In case none of the two aforesaid criteria is fulfilled, then the passengers should carry a COVID-19 negative test report taken through either RT-PCR/TrueNat or CBNAAT with the swab taken for testing not earlier than 72 hours from the date of travel.

Detailed SOP for bus service and inter-district bus and taxi service with the date of when the mentioned provisions will be effective will be issued by the Home department, the order added.

The District Task Forces (DTFs) have been authorized to consider imposing stricter measures or rolling back certain relaxations in specified areas in the district, if the local situation requires so.
