Kohima, October 17 (MExN): Under the aegis of Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA), the Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) is calling for Judoka players of Nagaland State to come for first selection camp to be held at Kohima for the forthcoming North-east Olympic Games 2022 at Meghalaya.
The selection camp will be held on October 21 at Indira Gandhi (IG) Stadium, Kohima, weigh-in: 7:00 am and selection time: 9:00 am, stated a press release issued by Dr Tali Ao, Secretary, NJA.
The selection will be in seven weight categories for both men and women. (Men: 40 Kg, 45 Kg, 50 Kg, 55 Kg, 60 Kg, 66 Kg, 73 Kg; Women: 34 Kg, 40 Kg, 44 Kg, 48 Kg, 52 Kg, 57 Kg, 63 Kg)
There will be no allowances for food, travel and lodging for the selection trial, participants will have to bear their own expenses. Further, the selected judoka players will have coaching camp starting from October 24 at IG Stadium, Kohima.
