Nagaland: Kohima Medical College

While the foundation stone for the first the medical college was laid by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio in 2014 and he informed the 7th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly in February 2021 that the Government is “planning to apply for starting the Kohima Medical College from the academic year 2022-23 to the National Medical Commission,” progress of work at ground level indicated that the target might be missed.
