Kohima, August 29 (MExN): Nagaland live audition for NE Star- Ultimate Music Talent Hunt powered by Toyota and managed by Unitex Inc. took place on August 28 at Okusa Toyota showroom, Kohima.
NE Star is a platform to discover, nurture and celebrate the finest music talent from across the Northeast.
The event, which is affiliated with IPRS, brings together the region’s top musical talent. The auditions was coordinated by the state coordinator Mele Pucho of Symphony Production.
The event was hosted by Ezhotou Keyho, Femina Miss India Nagaland 2023. The programme featured a special song by Vilazeü Kengurüsie & Kedo followed by welcome note by SK Karthik, representing Toyota.
The contestants were evaluated by highly accomplished local musicians- Ameu Usou Zao Director of the School of Music, Kohima and Obed Kath, Singer, Songwriter, and Frontman of Divine Connection. The programme concluded vote of thanks delivered by. Neingulie Nakhro of Unitex Inc.
The core of 2-hour live audition showcased the Top 20 talents from Nagaland. From this group, the top two participants will be shortlisted to represent the state. This exact selection process will be mirrored across the other seven participating states. The shortlisted participants results will be announced on September 20 on official NeStar Instagram page. The respective state winners will compete at finale, scheduled for September 27 in Guwahati.
