DC Mon bans explosives & chemicals for fishing Mon, November 6 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mon in an order notified on October 31 has banned “use of explosive and chemicals for fishing purpose in Mon District in accordance with Section (4) of Indian Fisheries Act,1897.” “Non-compliance of the order would attract punishment as per the relevant section of the said Act,” a release from Mon DC Thavaseelan K further informed.
