DC Mon bans explosives & chemicals for fishing Mon, November 6 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mon in an order notified on October 31 has banned “use of explosive and chemicals for fishing purpose in Mon District in accordance with Section (4) of Indian Fisheries Act,1897.” “Non-compliance of the order would attract punishment as per the relevant section of the said Act,” a release from Mon DC Thavaseelan K further informed.   Governor extends Tokhu Emong greetings Kohima, November 6 (MExN): Nagaland Governor PB Acharya has extended greeting to the Lotha community on the occasion of Tokhu Emong, a festival associated with harvesting of crops and celebration of brotherhood, forgiveness and oneness. He reminded the community to take time and thank Almighty for His unwavering love and blessings. The Governor further prayed that the festival will bring peace, unity and prosperity to the Lothas in particular and Nagas in general.   MDLSA to organize legal awareness on November 9 Mokokchung, November 6 (MExN): Mokokchung District Legal Services Authorities (MDLSA) will be observing the National Legal Services Authorities Day on November 9. A Legal awareness campaign will be conducted, as part of the observance, by opening three help desk at different point/junction in and around Mokokchung town, MDLSA District Project Assistant Sentinaro informed in a press release.   C Lotam Chang takes over as Directorate of Employment HoD Kohima, November 6 (MExN): Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in a notification has informed that C. Lotam Chang, Joint Director (HoD) has taken over charge as Head of Department (HoD) of the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Nagaland, Kohima with effect from October 1. Henceforth, all DO letters/Confidential and other important correspondences may be addressed to him by name till further Order under 9436001533/9378125227 or employment_training_ngl@yahoo.in.   Form submission for Delhi Police recruitment extended Delhi, November 6 (MExN): The last date for submission of application form for special recruitment drive to be conducted by Delhi Police in Nagaland has been extended till December 5, 2018. BL Suresh Chairman/Addl DCP, Recruitment Board, Nagaland has informed that the age of Constable(Male) has been made 18-30 years, which includes relaxation by five years for ST category and for Sports Person(National/International), it is 18-35 years. However, there has no change made for Constable(Female), the release said. Candidates who had applied earlier need not submit application form again. A MIP release stated that the action(s) of the mentioned individual has contravened the ethics of national principles and Ahza, which necessitated for initiating punitive action against the erring person. Henceforth, any issue(s) that may arise in connection with the discharged individual, the NSCN (R) will bear no responsibilities whatsoever, and for which it added, shall not reflect the NSCN (R) Government in any manner.
