
DC Mon notifies for reapplication of post
Mon, January 31 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan, IAS has in a circular informed all concerned that those who have already submitted their applications for the posts of LDA cum-Computer Assistant and Dobashis prior to the Advertisement published by the Office of the Commissioner Nagaland, Kohima January 17, 2019 to compulsorily re-apply in the proper format available in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Mon during Office hours.
Power supply disconnection cautioned for defaulters
Chümoukedima, January 31 (MExN): Chümoukedima Electrical Division has informed all consumers covering the towns and villages under Chümoukedima, Dhansiripar, Niuland, Kuhuboto and Medziphema block that the Power Department will be disconnecting power supply against defaulters with arrears from February 1 without further notice. Therefore all consumers have been requested to clear arrears before the stipulated time in order to avoid disconnection. A press release from Er Kasho Chishi Executive Engineer Electrical Division, Chümoukedima also informed that in case of any discrepancy in the bills, the concerned are asked to verify in the office of the respective SDO (Electrical).
CTC informs on registration, renewal of trade license
Chümoukedima, January 31 (MExN): Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC), Chümoukedima has informed all business establishments under CTC that renewal of trade license and fresh registration of firms will start from February 1-March 30. The council through a press release from EAC cum Administrator Thejavizo Nakhro has directed all concerned to register/renew of trade licenses as per Nagaland Municipal Act 2001.
Late Zakiesato’s son responds to Hiekhanomia clan’s statement
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): The son of late Kevi Zakiesato, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home in Dimapur on December 18, has issued a press release in response to a statement issued by the Hiekhanomia clan of Khonoma village.
In the release, the son, Kevilhulie Zakiesato sought privacy asking people not to interfere in the affairs of the family. “As the heir of my late father, I appreciate the concerns expressed. However, I request everyone, including the clan not to interfere in the affairs of my family,” the son said in the release.
He added that the “murder of my father” is under investigation by the police and expressed hope that “those responsible will be identified and brought to book.”
The Hiekhanomia clan, in its press release, which was published on January 23, stated that the clan will not allow the late Zakiesato’s wife to deal with any property related matters till the case (police investigation) is brought to a logical conclusion.
