Nagaland to observe Vigilance Awareness Week
Kohima, October 27 (MExN): The Vigilance Awareness Week, 2017 programme will be held on October 30 at 11:00 am under the theme ‘My Vision- Corruption Free India’ at the conference hall of the Vigilance Commission, Kohima. Secretary, Vigilance Commission, Sehjang Doungel will chair the programme. Vigilance Commissioner, Nagaland, K.T. Sukhalu will deliver the keynote address, and also administer the pledge, while, DIGP, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Police, Nagaland, K. Shiwoto Wotsa will pronounce the vote of thanks. Director and DIGP, Vigilance &Anti-Corruption Police, I. Meyionen will present the Commission’s Achievement report for the year 2016- 2017. The speeches of the Governor and the Chief Minister will also be read out in the programme.
Road opens for vehicles on NH-155
Mokokchung, October 27 (MExN): All the commuters plying on NH-155 (202 new) have been informed that the traffic closed due to landslide at location 69.050 km between Longkhim and Angangba route has been opened for vehicular traffic with effect from October 27. Executive Engineer, PWD (NH), Division-III Tuensang in a press release extended appreciation to all the commuters for their kind cooperation.
