One arrested with arms
Kohima, November 18 (MExN): One person was arrested with arms by a joint team of Kohima Police and 10 NAP (IR) during a search operation conducted at Upper Pezieliecie colony, Kohima on November 11 around 11:10 pm. According to a press release from Vekhosa Chakhesang, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Kohima, following items were recovered from the arrested person identified as Sheying – two .22 pistols (country made) with two magazines, one .32 pistol (country made) with one magazine. In this connection, a suo-moto case vide Kohima North PS Case No. 0056/2017 U/S 25(1A)(1B) Arms Act has been registered against the arrested person for further investigation, the release added.
CSS Hindi teachers informed
Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): All the 1357 Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) Hindi teachers have been informed that there will be a general meeting at the earliest to discuss on the matter of suitability test, which was published in the local media by Directorate of School Education (DoSE) on November 18. Therefore, a press release from CSS convenor has requested everyone not to submit the documents or the suitability test fee before the general meeting.
