CFD invites for prayer meeting on Oct 1
Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) has invited all the pastors and church leaders of Dimapur to be part of the joint prayer meeting for peace and harmony in Nagaland, which is scheduled to be held at 6:30 am at Angami Christian Revival Church, Burma camp on the October 1. Rev Vitoshe Swu, Vice Chairman CFD will lead the prayer, informed a press release issued by the CDF Chairman Moses Murry and Secretary, Fr CP Anto.
NSCN (IM) calls for prayer meet
Hebron, September 28 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) keeping with Nagas’ desire for honorable and acceptable Naga solution, has invited all ministers and pastors, irrespective of denominations for a prayer meeting with the collective leadership, NSCN/GPRN at 12:00 pm at Council Headquarters, Hebron on October 1. Watsü Mungdang informs on mass collection of plastic waste
Mokokchung, September 28 (MExN): The Watsü Mungdang has reminded all the Units under its Mungdang with regards to collection of plastic and polyethylene waste on October 2 “for which notifications have already been sent to respective office.” The Watsü Mungdang in a press release issued by its President, Maonginla and General Secretary, Moanaro urged all the Units to respond positively to the call and work with dignity for a cleaner environment.
ANFPSA Dimapur unit meet
Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The All Nagaland Fair Price Shop Association (ANFPSA) has convened a meeting with Dimapur Unit on at 11:00 am at All Nagaland Contractor & Suppliers Union Office, PWD colony Dimapur on September 30. “The meeting shall discuss in matters relating to the recently concluded decisions and resolution of All India Fair Price Shop Dealers’ Federation taken at Kolkata National Convention on September 24,”informed a press release issued by the ANFPSA President, Hotoshe Sumi and General Secretary, Meijiang. All the Fair Price Shop dealers of Urban and Rural in Dimapur have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
Dept of Social Welfare to observe ‘Intl Day of older persons’
Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The Department of Social Welfare will be observing ‘International Day of older persons’ at 10:00 am, at Hotel Japfu, Kohima on October 1 under the theme “The journey to age equality”. A DIPR report informed that the Advisor, Social Welfare, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Noke Wangnao will be the guest of honour. The highlights of the programme includes: speech on the theme by Director Social Welfare, T Merangtsungba Aier; Short speeches from the awardees; Keynote address by (Retd) IAS, President SCAN, Khekiye Sema and a special song by Senior Citizen Fellowship CBCK. “There will also be a presentation of the awards to distinguished Senior Citizens,” it informed.
