Temporary fireworks license to be issued

Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): In accordance with Rule 84 of Explosive Rules, 2008 and circular by Chief Controller of Explosive, applications for temporary fireworks license will be issued at the office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur. A press release from the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police informed that interested parties to stock and sell fire crackers are hereby directed to obtain permits for the same i.e. Licence in Form LE-5 after duly filling up form AE-5. The same may be obtained from the office of the Commissioner of Police. The licences will be issued totally on a temporary basis. Further, licences will be issued only for sale during Dewali, it added.
 

BAK supports PAC of NCD

Kohima, October 3 (MExN): The Business Association Kohima (BAK), Nagaland today extended support to the Public Action Committee (PAC) of the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) for undertaking the public movement against illegal taxation by the State and Non-State actors. The Association in a press release urged the state government to apply the establishment laws of the land and fulfill the demands of the public and also appeal to all right thinking citizens to support the movement for the welfare of the society.

Weavers’ Service Centre to hold 6 weeks training on handlooms

Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): Weavers’ Service Centre (WSC) - Dimapur, Office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Government of India, Ministry of Textiles in association with Branch MSME - Development Institute, Dimapur will be organizing six weeks training programme - “Entrepreneurship Cum Skill Development Program On Handlooms” from October 14 at WSC’s Extension Centre, NHHDC Premises, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur. NFSA ration cards to be issued to Aadhaar seeded beneficiaries for Dimapur

Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): The office of the Assistant Director Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur has informed all concerned that NFSA Ration Cards will be issued/distributed only to the Aadhaar seeded beneficiaries for Dimapur district at 90 earmarked Fair Price Shops Dealers under Dimapur on the 1st week of October to roll out the 1st phase of FPS Automation in the state at Dimapur district which will be followed by the rest of the FPS. S Kavito Aomi, Assistant Director, Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur, in a press release informed that the eligible beneficiaries with validated Aadhaar are issued New Ration Card. The eligible beneficiaries showing Non-Authenticated are requested to visit the nearest Aadhaar Centre and update the Aadhaar, updation/edition/deletion of NFSA ration card(s) will be a continuation process. For any query(ies)/ guidance, Aomi requested the public to approach District Grievance Cell at the office of Assistant Director of Supply, Dimapur.  Notifying that this information was for strict compliance, it requested all stakeholders to cooperate with the department till such time Aadhaar is seeded with the remaining Ration Cards in the district.
