PAC of NCD calls for meet

Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): The Public Action Committee (PAC) of the Naga Council, Dimapur (NCD) informed that it will convene a meeting with the executive members of the Dimapur Urban Colony Chairmen Federation and Dimapur District Village Council Chairmen Association at the NCD office on October 16 at 4:00pm. It requested all the members concerned to attend the meeting “on priority.” It further informed that on the same date, the PAC will discuss the prospect of “community policing” in collaboration with the district police. 

 

Tuensang DC informs on SDRF fund 

Tuensang, October 14 (MExN): Tuensang Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, DDMA Mohammed Ali Shihab, IAS has informed that the district has received the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) from NSDMA, Home Department for houses damaged only during the year 2018-19. The list of beneficiaries has been made available at DDMA Cell of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. The DC has informed the beneficiaries to collect the amount from the DDMA Cell, Tuensang from October 16 onwards. Furthermore, the beneficiaries are informed to produce any of the following documents, Aadhar Card/EPIC/Service ID/PAN Card for identification purpose.

 

WCSU informs non-local card holders

Wokha, October 14 (MExN): Wokha Circle Students' Union (WCSU) has informed all the non-local card holders that NLRc verification drive will commence from October 16 to 19 October at WCSU office main bazaar building from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Longshithung Lotha, President, WCSU in a press release informed that failure to verify within the stipulated time will invite strong course of action from the union.

 

WDPA informs on membership renewal

Wokha, October 14 (MExN): All the members of the Wokha District Pensioners’ Association (WDPA) have been informed to renew their membership and summit Life Certificate for 2019 to 2020 personally during office hour, w.e.f. October 16 –December 10 without fail. This was informed in a press release issued by Yihamo Patton, President DPO (Rtd), WDPA.

 

NSCN (IM) mourns demise of Leacy Rangdi

Hebron, October 14 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned by the demise of Rangdi, Leacy, GPRN, from Sangongbam village under Maram Thangal Region on October 11. He joined the Naga national service in 1964 under Naga National Council (NNC) and later enrolled in NSCN (IM) in 2010. He served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until his demise. The void created by his demise would be difficult to fill in, stated a condolence message issued by MIP, NSCN (IM). “For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of Naga history and his sacrifices ever be cherished by all.” At this hour of sorrow, NSCN (IM) conveyed its deep condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant his soul eternal peace and rest.

 

Mao Hoho Dimapur mourns demise of Chisa

Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): Mao Hoho Dimapur is deeply saddened by the sudden demise of H Chisa, at Guwahati on October 13. A condolence message from the Hoho stated that “H Chisa, wife of K Heni, Retd Joint Secretary, Government of Nagaland, was a very righteous and upright woman. Her demise is an immeasurable loss to her family in particular and the Maos in general.” She leaves behind her husband, six children and four grandchildren. Mao Hoho Dimapur conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and her near and dear ones. It prayed that the Almighty give them strength to bear the loss and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
