APO meeting on April 30

Kohima, April 29 (MExN): An emergency meeting between the executive council of the Angami Public Organisation and its advisory board has been convened on April 30, 11:00 am at APO Hall, Kohima. In a press release today, APO General Secretary Neisakholie Ziephrü requested all the APO executive council members and advisory board members to attend the meeting without fail.

 

JLF meeting on May 2

Kohima, April 29 (MExN): A meeting of the Joint Legislators’ Forum (JLF) on Naga Political Issue will be held on May 2, 10:00 am, at the State Banquet Hall of the Old Chief Minister’s Residence, Kohima to discuss the Naga Political issue and the COVID-19 Pandemic situation. The meeting was convened by NLA Speaker Sharingain Longkumer who is also the Chairperson of the JLF. All members have been requested to attend the meeting as scheduled.

 

Hospitals for treatment of non COVID patients

Kohima, April 29 (MExN): Two private hospitals in Kohima have been identified for treatment of non-COVID patients referred from COVID Hospital (NHAK) for hospitalization and will be empanelled under AB-PMJAY to provide benefits as per guidelines to the beneficiaries. The hospitals are KOHIMAS Hospital and G1VF (Gynae Institute of Virility and Fertility), Kohima. The District Implementation Unit of AB-PMJAY, Kohima District will facilitate the above two mentioned hospitals in the empanelment under AB-PMJAY. Working Committee NNPGs offer condolences 

Dimapur, April 29 (MExN): The Working Committee of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) today mourned the demise of Andrew Clark, a member of the Quakers, who passed away on April 23. A condolence message from the Working Committee (NNPGs) stated that Clark was a great friend of the Nagas who promoted and encouraged reconciliation and unity amongst Naga revolutionary leaders. “Andrew Clark lived a life of a true Christian and exhibited inner light of the soul. He devoted his time and energy to peaceful principles in true Quakers belief, and encouraged the Naga revolutionary leaders to seek a common objective in the political struggle,” the message stated. Quakers are a religious society of friends, a Christian movement founded in 1650 in England. Further, the Working Committee, NNPGs conveyed heartfelt condolences to family and colleagues of the departed friend.
