Governor extends Shivrati greetings
Kohima, March 3 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya has extended Shivrati greetings to people of Nagaland, particularly the Hindu community in the state. A press release from PRO to Governor stated that the day was celebrated to worship Lord Shiva, who is considered to be the ‘destroyer of evil,’ according to Hindu mythology and added that Shrivrati was also a time to focus on restraint, forgiveness, repentance, honesty and kindness. Governor Acharya hoped that the sacred occasion will usher in good will and harmony and further strengthen the values of composite society everywhere.
DAWN annual general meet
Wokha, March 3 (MExN): The annual general meeting of District Anglers Wokha Nagaland (DAWN) will be held on March 9, 11:00 am at the Woods, Doyang.
