ANHTU informs
Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union (ANHTU) in a meeting on April 27 has resolved to collect a sum of Rs. 1500 from all Hindi Teachers in Nagaland for the Silver Jubilee celebration on September 14. A press release from the Convenor, Ruchunlo Tep and General Secretary, A.S. Yarthotngam stated that the amount will be deducted from the salary of May.
NVA conference
Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The Nagaland Veterinarians’ Association (NVA) has informed that its general conference 2018 will be held on May 24, 10:00 am at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. The Association through a press release has extended invitation to all members including retired officers, unemployed doctors and veterinary doctors serving in other departments to grace the conference.
Ilandlo Express launched at Kohima
Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): Nagaland’s largest E-commerce store ilandlo.com has launched its first Ilandlo Express center at Razhü Point in Kohima. A press release stated that the branch office cum outlet will serve both as distribution center and sales channel for the district. Ilandlo.com is an online venture started in 2014, promoting indigenous entrepreneurs from Nagaland and the Northeast India which is now expanding their express shops to make it easily accessible for walk-in buyers, the release added. This Express store will focus on bringing packaging solutions closer to home for SMEs, a bookshelf for local authors and space for our local entrepreneurs. This center will also add as a pickup and drop points for all vendors of Ilandlo Logistics Solutions.
Food and Civil Supplies informs on AAY beneficiaries
Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): N.Jamonger Ao. Assistant Director, Food and Civil Supplies, Dimapur has informed ration card holders/beneficiaries under Antyodya Anna Yojana (AAY) of Dimapur District to submit the Old Ration card along with Aadhaar details of the card holder, family members and an acknowledgement slip duly signed by the office of the Assistant Director, Food and Civil Supplies, Dimapur. The allotted foodgrains will be issued to the beneficiaries only after producing the acknowledgment slip to the concerned Urban FPS/Village Council FPS, the release informed.
National workshop on GST in India
Kohima, May 21 (MExN): The Department of Commerce, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus in collaboration with the National Institute for Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima, is organizing a Two-Day National Workshop-cum-Seminar on ‘Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India’ on May 22 and 23, 2018 at NIELIT, Kohima. The Organising Committee in a press release stated that this seminar-cum-workshop is of national importance and requires publicity in order to create awareness about GST among the common masses.
