RNTCP to organize sensitization

Kohima, June 2 (MExN): The Revised National TB Control Program (RNTCP) under Chief Medical Officer’s office, Kohima district will be conducting sensitization program on record maintenance of Schedule-H1 drugs in special reference to ATT drugs on June 5, 10:00 am at Red Cross building here. A press release from Drugs Inspector Ethungbemo Ezung informed that it is mandatory for all licensed pharmacies to attend the programme positively.

Union informs truck drivers to register names

Dimapur, June 2 (MExN): All the truck owners of Boulder Sand Gravel Metal Stone Suppliers' Union have been informed to register their names before June 9 at the union’s office in Chümoukedima. “Defaulters shall be imposed a fine if they are found carrying boulder sand gravel and metal stone as well,” stated a press release from the union. It was further informed that there will be a general meeting at the union’s office, Chümoukedima on June 5 at 9:00 am. Therefore, all the members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.  

DDADU opens branch office in East Dimapur

Dimapur, June 2 (MExN): The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union (DDADU) inaugurated its branch office at East Dimapur Purana Bazaar on May 26. DDADU president, I Vitoshe Sema graced the inaugural as chief guest. The new team of East Dimapur Autorickshaw Drivers’ Union will be led by Hokivi Aye as Vice-president and Kuhoyi Achumi as general secretary for 2018-2021 tenure.  

NPYC condole demise of Khato-o Koza

Dimapur, June 2 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress has expressed sadness over the sudden demise of Khato-o Koza, mother of Kolhoupe Koza, General Secretary, Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC). The NPYC in a condolence message from the President Vilhousielie Kenguriese and General Secretary Limayangba stated that “with the demise of her, the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress has lost a mother who was always behind us.” The party also extended solidarity to his family and prayed for their solace and strength.
