Farmers under ATMA Zbto tour Kma Zunheboto, January 22 (MExN): With the purpose of enabling farmers to gather more field experience and practices in different farming system among the local farmers, ATMA Zunheboto organized a tour to Kohima District for six selected farmers from Zunheboto block, Satakha block and Gathashi block from January 19 to 20. According to a press release, the team visited Kiwi Farm School at Kigwema village and Potato Farm School at Kozama village, Jakhama block. Viniesa, Potato Farm School Teacher of Kozama village demonstrated to the farmers about the methods of potato plantation, land preparation, timely plantation, application of fertilizer weeding, irrigation, inter-cropping and also the advantages of potato farming that improved his life economically.   AR interacts with villagers Kohima, January 22 (MExN): An interaction with Village GBs and Council Chairmen of nine villages under Chizami Sub Division was conducted by 9 Assam Rifles on January 19. The interaction focused on methodology to increase cooperation with local bodies and enhance peace and harmony in Chizami region, an AR release informed. A separate interactive meeting was also held with the GBs and village secretary of Pfuchama and Phesama village on January 18, a separate AR release stated.   R-Day work distribution meeting held in Peren Peren, January 22 (DIPR): Meeting in connection with work distribution for the ensuing Republic Day celebration in Peren was held at the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Zarenthung Ezung. The Chairman said that it is the duty of each department to participate in the Republic Day celebration. Various departments were assigned different duties. He also called upon the government employees of the district to participate in the celebration.   Departmental Coordination meeting held at Tseminyu Tseminyu, January 22 (DIPR): Departmental coordination meeting was held at ADC Tseminyu’s conference hall on January 13 for the forthcoming Republic Day celebration to be held at Tseminyu Town on January 26. All heads of offices, principals, headmasters of Government High Schools and private high schools, DBs, Ward GBs in Tseminyu Town attended the meeting. ADC Tseminyu, Vikhweno M. Meratsu, who conducted the meeting, requested the members to sincerely cooperate in all preparation works for the successful celebration of Republic Day.   6th General Session of JCBKK Phesama, January 22 (MExN): The 6th general session of Japfüphiki Chokri Baptist Khriesarüü Krotho (JCBKK) was held at Phesama Baptist Church under the theme ‘Set an example for the believers of Christ’ from January 20 to 22. According to a press release from JCKK Finance Secretary, Venucho Chüzho, the session featured 5 worship services and 2 workshops. The speakers of the sessions were Rev. Dr. Chekroveyi Cho-o, Associate Professor, OTS, Dimapur, Khrievino Sahu, Youth Co-ordinator, NBCC, Rev. Dr. Mechiehol Savi, School Co-ordinator, NBCC, Rev. Dr. Razouselie Lasetso, Professor, ETC, Jorhat and Rev. Puthavil Neikha, Pastor, Viswema Baptist Church, while Dr. Sao Tunyi, Epidemiologist, Department of H&FW and Khrievino Sahu were the resource persons. Visato Yhoshu and the Light House Worship Team led during the praise and worship services.
