ADC Zunheboto warns on stray cattle and dogs Zunheboto, July 20 (DIPR): Observing the nuisance created by stray cattle and dogs in and around the town, ADC, Zunheboto, Vekhoyi Chakhesang has directed all village councils/ward GBs to control the free roaming of cattle and stray dogs within 15 days. Failure to comply with the order will lead to shooting down of the same without any further notice, it was warned. Non-functional rural libraries to be delisted Kohima, July 20 (MExN): All the registered rural libraries under Art and Culture Department in Kohima and Peren districts have been informed that non-functional libraries will be delisted after physical verification by the department. All registered rural libraries must put up their signboards outside their library complex for easy identification by the public, informed Peihau Nsarangbe, District Cultural Officer, Kohima. On verification, to be carried out at the earliest, records will be checked and the libraries which have not collected books for the last three years will be delisted without further information. Those libraries have been reminded to collect the books at the earliest. NMSA informs successful NEET candidates Kohima, July 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Medical Students’ Association (NMSA), while congratulating the candidates who have cleared the NEET exams this year under Nagaland State quota, has requested them to be present at the counseling on July 21 “so as to enable us to orient and register you into the parent body of NMSA.” A press release from NMSA informed that the candidates are required to bring the following documents and items: recent passport size photos; original class 10 and 12 admit card and mark sheet; original NEET admit card and mark sheet; ST Certificate; Indigenous Certificate; Permanent Residency Certificate.
