SBAK condemns
Dimapur, January 10 (MExN): Sumi Baptist Churches Association (SBAK) Aizuto has vehemently condemned the assault of Akivito Sumi, a class X student of CHSS, Dimapur on December 28, 2013, which led to his death on December 30. A press release from SBAK-Aizuto stated that such inhuman and uncivilized behaviour is unacceptable in a society and should be condemned by all right thinking citizens.
SRSU 54th annual session held
Suruhuto, January 10 (DIPR): Suruhuto Range Student's Union (SRSU) commenced its 54th annual session at Lithsami village on January 8 with the theme “A Glorious Generation”. Parliamentary Secretary Soil & Water Conservation& Fisheries, Shetoyi Sumi who graced the inaugural function as chief guest encouraged and challenged the students and youths to take up the role in removing the corruption practices in election in Nagaland. He encouraged the youths and students to build work culture by asking them to take up farming in commercial cropping that could support livelihood. He gave a call to action to do what is right for the greater good and a glorious generation. The Chief Guest called upon the youths and students in building a brighter future generation. He was accompanied by C. Konyak, SDO (C) Suruhuto, GB's, elders, public leaders & leaders of political parties of 33 A/C Suruhuto.
