DC Wokha informs to clear materials 

Wokha, July 24 (MExN): In the interest of public and in view of the proposed construction of road starting from KM 83.000 to KM 101.00, Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Orenthung Lotha has informed all private individuals along the stretch starting from New Wokha Village till Tsungiki 2nd bazaar to remove private water pipeline and other building materials within the Right of Way (RoW). The clearing of all such private pipeline and other building materials within the RoW as demarcated by the Verification Committee may be cleared on or before August 10 for smooth and early completion of the road project, the DC added.

DC Zunheboto restricts heavy vehicles

Zunheboto, July 24 (MExN): The office of the Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto has issued an order that due to monsoon season, the road condition along the Coco-Doyang has become deplorable and there its high risk of causing mishap and accidents specially for heavy or loaded vehicles. Therefore, the Deputy Commissioner has directed that movement of heavy or loaded vehicles along the Coco-Doyang road is strictly prohibited with immediate effect from the date of issue of this order till further notice.

MHSU supports demand to reinstate Mopong circle under Tobu 

Dimapur, July 24 (MExN): The Mopong Hongkong students union (MHSU) has supported the demand of Mopong Hongkong Public Forum seeking to reinstate Mopong Administrative Circle under Tobu Sub-Division. MHSU reminded the government that the move initiated by the Forum implies people's democratic will and claimed that the “mandate of the people to reinstate Mopong circle under Tobu Sub-Division is our standing resolution.” A release issued by L. Kholee, President, MHSU and A, Moba Konyak, General Secretary, MHSU stated that leaders of Mopong Hongkong have appeared at Commissioner office on February 4, 2020 for the same and accordingly explained the ground realities to the committee. “But, there is no positive response from the government in such lapses of time,” it lamented. 

NBSE informs on webinar on blended learning

Kohima, July 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all registered schools that 2-hour webinar on ‘Blended Learning- The call of the future’ is scheduled to be conducted on July 29 at 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. This webinar is exclusively for the Heads of Institutions registered with NBSE. The webinar is being organized as the COVID-19 pandemic calls for rethinking in our educational content and processes. Technology must make its inroads into the portals of education to bridge the learning gaps. The webinar will be presented by Dr G Balasubramanian, an eminent educationist with the workshop moderators, Priya Darchini Chatterjee and Pooja Das.
