
State Task Force Meeting on immunization
Kohima, November 10 (MExN): A State Task Force Meeting has been scheduled for the review of Routine Immunization, Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI 5.0), and Measles Rubella Elimination. The meeting is set to take place on November 13 at 2:00 pm in the IDSP Hall at the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland, Kohima. All concerned officers have been invited to attend this important meeting, which will provide a platform to assess the progress and strategize for the effective implementation of key health initiatives.
SCERT informs on Nagaland heritage studies textbooks
Kohima, November 10 (MExN): The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Nagaland, in accordance with Government notification, will oversee the procurement of Nagaland Heritage Studies Textbooks for Classes 1-8 and Nagaland Heritage Studies Textbooks (Alternative English) for Classes 5-8 for the Academic year 2024. Private schools desiring to utilise the Nagaland Heritage Studies textbooks have been instructed to submit their requirements through SCERT, the State's Academic Authority. The procurement should not be made directly through the publisher. The deadline for submitting the requirements is on or before November 30. NDPP condoles
Dimapur, November 10 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has mourned the demise of Lepshi Ao, Vice President, NDPP at Dimapur on November 8. “The loss of such a senior and seasoned politician is not only a great loss to the party, but also to the people of Nagaland. His contributions in the field of politics have been immense and his absence will be sorely missed,” Chingwang Konyak, President, NDPP stated in a press note. “The rank and file of the NDPP joins me in conveying our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Khrienuo and the members of the bereaved family. May his soul rest in eternal peace!” Konyak added.
GPRN/NSCN mourns
Dimapur, November 10 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief over the demise of Zalietuolie Kent, Khapur who passed away on November 4. “His contributions and service in various capacities since 2008 towards the Naga Nation shall ever be cherished and recorded in the pages of the Naga history,” a condolence message issued by Issued by MIP, Nika (Deputy Secretary) GPRN/NSCN stated. The GPRN/ NSCN further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty to grant solace and comfort at this grief time.
ANTA Raising Day on Nov 18
Kohima, November 10 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Hq Kohima has directed all its district units to observe ANTA Raising Day cum annual picnic on November 18. The Association has “warned” in a press release that if any member or any other vehicle plying as Taxis and violating the norms of the Association will be penalized on that particular day. It further requested the general public to bear the inconveniences.
