GPRN/NSCN discharges one

Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN through the Ministry of Kilo affairs has discharged P Thangpon, Leacy of Khiamniungan region from active national service on ground of unavoidable family and domestic problem. “The service rendered by the said official is most satisfactory and praiseworthy for which the Nation, GPRN/NSCN conveys best wishes on her future endeavor,” stated a press release issued by MIP GPRN/NSCN.

 

GPRN/NSCN condoles

Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has mourned the demise of Zalietuolie Kent, Khapur of Tsosinyu village, Tseminyu district on November 4. “His contributions and service in various capacities since 2008 towards the Naga Nation shall ever be cherished and recorded in the pages of the Naga history,” stated a condolence message issued by MIP GPRN/NSCN. “The GPRN/ NSCN further conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty to grant solace and comfort at this grief time. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” it added.

 

KMC directs shopkeepers & business establishments

Kohima, November 18 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming Hornbill Festival and festive season, all shopkeepers and business establishments within Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) have been directed to clean, whitewash and paint their shops facing the road and to put up proper lighting and decorative lights on or before November 27. This was stated in a circular issued by KMC, Administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer.

 

KMC informs on roadside parking fee

Kohima, November 18 (MExN): In pursuance of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) meeting held on October 31 and the approval of the verification report and recommendations of the committee on operation of MLCPs and parking fees, the roadside parking fee in Zone II and Zone III has been enhanced to Rs 20 per hour and Rs 5 for every subsequent hour. This order will come into force w.e.f November 21 onwards till further order, stated KMC, Administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer.

 

NNC CEC on November 21

Chedema, November 18 (MExN): The Naga national Council (NNC) has informed that there will be a meeting of the Central Executive Council (CEC), NNC at Chedema Peace Camp, Chedema on November 21 at 10:00 am. In a press release, Actiyi Vadeo, Joint Secretary, NNC informed that the meeting will discuss important issues pertaining to “CEC, NNC past resolutions and the scenario of the Naga Nation.” Therefore, all CEC members and Regional Presidents of NNC have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
