Secheku Range Sports Meet 2021
Kohima, February 27 (MExN): The 55th Sports Meet of Secheku Range Sports Association (SRSA) will take place from March 1 to 6 at Tsüpfume village under Phek district. Veyielo Doulo, Deputy Director, tourism department will be the special guest while Colo Mero, Director Life Ministries will be the valedictory guest. The week-long tourney will be marked by field and track events, football, volleyballs and basketball.
PASA convenes consultative meeting
Kohima, February 27 (MExN): The Phek Area Sports Association (PASA) has informed all the concerned ex-presidents, unit presidents, VCCs/VDBs, Referee Commissioner’s, team manager/coach and senior leaders that there will be a consultative meeting cum drawing of fixtures of the 31st PASA meet on March 4 at PTC Hall Phek Town at 11:00 am. Informing this, PASA President Razoukhruyi Dozo requested all the concerned members to attend the said meeting positively.
All Nagaland open penalty shootout tourney on March 13
Kohima, February 27 (MExN): An all Nagaland open penalty shootout tourney has been scheduled on March 13 in Chizami under Phek district. This tourney is being organized by Chizami Sports Association in collaboration with Nagaland State AIDS Control Society and Life Sports Nagaland as partner. The champion will win a cash prize of Rs 50,000 while runner-up will receive Rs 25,000. Semifinalists will pocket Rs 2500 each. Entry fee has been fixed at Rs 2000 and last date of registration is March 11.
NCA officials visit Kiphire district
Kiphire, February 27 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) led by its Vice President Sukhulu and his team paid a two-day visit to Kiphire District from February 26 to 27. During this visit, the NCA officials along with officials of Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) also toured Pungro Sub-Division to promote cricket under Kiphire district. The visiting team inspected both Kiphire and Pungro HQ ground. The Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA) while briefing its activities in the district, requested for one member representative under NCA from KDCA, allocation of Practice Pitch at both Kiphire and Pungro HQ respectively and also to reconsider per level training of Manual Scorer course, Umpire course and Physical Trainer (Strength and conditionIng) for Kiphire district.
