KMC directs business establishments 

Kohima, January 21 (MExN): In pursuance of the home department coordination meeting minutes and in view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebration, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed all the shopkeepers and business establishments within KMC to white wash/paint the front side of their respective buildings and shops facing the road. Further, all shops/business establishments have been requested to open only after completion of the state programme on January 26. This was stated in a release issued by KMC Administrator, T Lanusenla Longkumer.

ADC Kohima Informs

Kohima, January 21 (MExN): ADC Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori has informed all concerned that no vehicles will be allowed to park within the Office premises of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima except Administrative Officers, Judicial Officers, and Officers or Staff on Election duty starting from January 20 onwards.

Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah greetings to Khiamniungan Nagas

Dimapur, January 21 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has extended greetings the Khiamniungan Nagas on the occasion of Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah festival which is one of the important festivals of the Khiamniungan tribe and which is interpreted as the day for peace and reconciliation and also as thanksgiving day for the year's harvest. “May the Khiamniungan brothers and sisters be the messenger of peace and harmony and also to grow and dwell in prosperity and good tidings,” it stated in a press release.
