
Baptist World Youth Conference in Singapore
Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): The Baptist World Youth Conference, world’s largest youth gathering will be held at Singapore from July 17 – 21, 2013. Around 6000 youths from different countries are expected to attend. With regard to the conference, Vikuo Rhi, NBCC Youth Secretary requests all Baptist youths willing to attend the conference to submit Registration Form, Passport (original), 4 Photograph with white background and 3.5x4.5 cm in size (Soft copy recommended to send to vikuo.rhi@gmail.com), Occupation Proof, Covering letter in official letter head, Fifty Thousand rupees, and Pastor’s recommendation to the youth office of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) on or before March 15, 2013 through their respective churches/associations. The last date for submission to youth secretaries of local associations is March 10.
DC Peren revokes order
Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): The DC Peren has revoked the earlier order, directing all license holders to deposit the arm license along with the weapons in view of the just concluded assembly polls. The DC Peren, in an order said that license holders have deposited the arm license along with weapons can collect the same from the police station with proper receipt.
IPPI in Mokokchung
Mokokchung, March 6 (DIPR): Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung has informed that the 2nd round of Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) for children between 0 to 5 years will be held on the March 10 (Sunday) at Mokokchung. In this regard, parents and adult are asked to ensure that all children 0-5 years receive Polio drops on the mentioned day at the nearest IPPI Booths.
MLAs informed on room allotment
Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): The members of the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly are informed that room allotment in the Legislators’ Home will be issued on March 11. Therefore, all the MLAs are requested to collect the allotment order from the caretaker, Legislators’ Home. This was stated in a press release issued NLA secretary AE Lotha.
NPC hopes for a strong govt
