78th Nagaland Independence Day
Kohima, August 1 (MExN): The Ministry of Rali Wali, Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has informed that the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) will celebrate the 78th Nagaland Independence Day on August 14 at 10: 00 am at Chedema Peace Camp: Chedema. Therefore, all the fellow Nagas have been requested to participate on the occasion and stand our ground together. Further, it has also urged to all Midan Peyus, FGN and Regional Presidents, NNC to celebrate this Historic Day of our Nation in their respective Regions, Sub-Regions and Villages.

 

Gov greets on  Tsüngremmong fest
Kohima, August 1 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan has extended Tsüngremmong greetings to Ao brothers and sisters. “As you celebrate this joyous festival, let us honor the rich traditions and seek blessings for a bountiful harvest.  May this special time bring happiness, prosperity, and unity to your community. May the spirits of the ancestors watch over and guide us towards a fruitful and harmonious future,” Ganesan stated in a message. “Wishing everyone a wonderful Tsüngremmong filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness. Celebrate with pride and embrace the beauty of your cherished heritage,” he added.
