Mobilization of candidates for PM’s internship scheme

Mon, April 14 (MExN): Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Mon, Ajit Kumar, IAS, invited on the mobilization of candidates for Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme in Nagaland as directed from Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland. In this regard, the District Employment Officer Mon, the Principal, Wangkhao Government College, Mon Vale College, Industrial Training institute Mon, Principal, Model College Wakching, Principal, Government Polytechnic College Aboi, President Konyak Students’ Union Mon have been requested to peruse the matter and disseminate the information regarding the same in your respective college, Institution, jurisdictions.

Poshan Pakhwada awareness camp conducted in Tseminyu

Tseminyu, April 14 (MExN): Tseminyu District ICDS project, Poshan Pakhwada 2025 (April 8 to 22) held an awareness camp at Town Hall, Tseminyu on April 14, with Dr Medozhatuo Keretsu, MO (Ayush), NPCDCS Tseminyu and District Co-ordinator Kohima, Poshan Abhiyaan, Eliana Tep as resource person. During the programme, Dr Keretsu said the six common signs of Anaemia to look out for are persistent fatigue, pale/yellowish skin, irregular heartbeats, cold hands and feet, dizziness and chest pain. While Eliana Tep said proteins, calcium and iron green vegetables should be had for a balance diet, cultivating good habits such as exercise and a healthy diet will in addition bring many benefits in the future. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Sr Supervisor, ICDS project Tseminyu, Obed Magh, opening remark was given by CDPO/ DPO i/c Tseminyu, Menokhrielie and vote of thanks was pronounced by block coordinator, Tseminyu, Poshan Abhiyaan, Allen Seb.

Rural libraries to collect books

Kohima, April 14 (MExN): Director, Art & Culture, Adela Moa has notified information to all the Rural Libraries enlisted with the Department of Art and Culture that books for 2023-24 may be collected from the Directorate of Art and Culture from April 16 to May 15 during office hours. All the Libraries must come with Library Round Seal and Designation Seal (President, Librarian and General Secretary) without which books will not be issued. On expiry of the last date, books will be taken by the District Cultural Officers/Registering Officer to their respective Head Quarters, from where the enlisted rural libraries shall collect the books.
