43rd Tapi A/C NPF holds prayer prog

Kohima, August 19 (MExN): The 43rd Tapi A/C NPF party held a prayer programme for newly appointed office bearers on August 18. The office bearers appointed by NPF Central HQ. Kohima include T Aman Konyak as President, Chemyeih as Working President, Manying as General Secretary (Administration), Angnam W Konyak as General Secretary (Organization) and 15 other executives. A press release received here stated that the meeting was attended by the party members from 15 villages under TAPI Area of Mon district. The house unanimously resolved to support Wanglem Konyak, who is contesting in 43rd TAPI A/C in NPF ticket in forthcoming Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election. 

CDGBA reiterates stand on ‘One Govt One Tax’

Chümoukedima, August 19 (MExN): The Chümoukedima District Gaon Bura’s Association (CDGBA) has reiterated to stand on the ‘One Government One Tax’ till the Naga Political Groups (NPGs) “come together to work collectively for one cause.” CDGBA, president, Rokovitso Kuotsu and General Secretary, Kekhrieselie Kera in a press release stated that this was resolved during the meeting held at CPO Hall Chümoukedima Town on August 12. CDGBA has also reminded to submit the list of unit office bearers name and membership fees till date on or before September 15 to the CDGBA office. 

CNSA commends Police

Mokokchung, August 19 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) has commended Dimapur Police and Nagaon Police for detaining Dildar Hussain from Nagaon, Assam, the person responsible for the May 25 hit-and-run of Mapuinla, a student at St Joseph University, Nagaland. The CNSA in a press release ‘sincerely appreciate the Dimapur Police for their persistent efforts in apprehending the offender.’ Additionally, the CNSA has called on all student unions and organisations to assist the authorities in bringing the offender to justice in accordance with the law. 

NSAP beneficiaries under Longleng dist informed

Longleng, August 19 (MExN): Beneficiaries of the National Social Assistance Program (NSAP) viz - IGNOAP, IGNWPS and IGNDPS under Longleng district have been informed that the Department of Social Welfare has released the pension payments for those beneficiaries who have renewed their pension for the year 2021-22 during the month of May to June 2022. CDPO Longleng, Longlang Luckpan in a noticed informed that the pension amount release is for six months and the disbursement of the pension will be through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode and the payment will be crediting from the Bank/Post Office with effect from August 19.
