AYO new team announced

Kohima, February 18 (MExN): A new team office bearers of the Angami Youth Organization (AYO) for the tenure 2023-2026 have been announced. The new team will be led by Kesosul Christopher Ltu as president. Others include; Vice President- Petevito Nakhro and Dievi Yano, General Secretary-Neidilhoutuo Sechü, Joint Secretary- V Akieto Khro and Vipu Zashümo, Treasurer- Rokophrezo Rocus Rino, Finance Secretary- Thepfukhrietuo Rupreo, Environment Secretary-Megolhouto Hieme, Public Relation Secretary-Abei Thepa, Property Secretary-Dzieselhoulie Yhor, Press Secretary- Thepfusavi Suohu, Khriekesa Pelikroko Welfare Secretary –Zekuseto Natso, Social & Cultural Secretary- Seyietuo Yashü, Joint Secretary, Megokolie Pier, Women Welfare Secretary- Kevisenuo Kire and Kikruvinuo Kheletsu; Auditor- Tolto Vizol. Final reminder to arms license holders 

Longleng, February 18 (MExN): The DC & DEO, Longleng Dharam Raj, IAS has issued a final reminder to all the arms license holders under Longleng district who are yet to deposit their arms license along with arms to the nearest police station latest by 5:00 pm on February 20. The DC Longleng in a DIPR report stated that failure to comply with the order will subsequently lead to cancellation of arms license and may invite penalties as per the provision of the law. 

NNC/FGN executive meeting on Feb 27

Kohima, February 18 (MExN): The Ministry of Rali Wali (Information & Publicity), Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has informed that the Monthly NNC/FGN Executive Meeting will be held on February 27 at 10:00 am in Transit Peace Camp (TPC) Kohima. Therefore, all the eligible central authorities and regional authorities of the NNC/FGN have been requested to positively attend the Meeting.

Noklak medical assistance team formed 

Noklak, February 18 (MExN): Rapid Response Team for medical assistance to polling personnel and security has been formed under the establishment of the Chief Medical Officer for Noklak Sadar to tackle any injuries following poll-related violence, accident, and illness of Polling personnel and Security guards during the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election, 2023. The Rapid Response team comprised Dr Amonglima, MO (IAH); Washi Ponar, Staff Nurse; Ngepfe Pojar, Staff Nurse; Pushan, Dresser; Shiem K, Medical Attendant, and Sampai Driver. The Hospital Ambulance has been detailed for transportation of the RRT and also for patient transportation to District Hospital, Noklak, EAC & AEO in Charge Noklak, Kathyinla notified. 

Dimapur: One unidentified body found 

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN): The Dimapur Police has found one unidentified dead body (non-local male) age around 50 yrs (approx.) outside railway track at Platform No.05, near Railway Bazaar, Dimapur on February 18. Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur in a press release stated that the deceased was wearing white long shirt and black long pant. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to Dimapur District Hospital Morgue for PM examination/identification. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, Govt Railway Police Station, Dimapur at 7085055021.
