
Bicycle Rally at Kohima on Feb 4
Kohima, February 2 (MExN): A bicycle rally under the banner of SVEEP Campaign, Kohima district organised by the Office of DC & DEO Kohima will be held on February 4 at 7:00 am from DC Office to Raj Bhavan. Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS will flag off the Rally while Pastor Khrieneiu Metha Peniel CRC, Billy Graham Rd will pronounce the prayer. All willing participants have been invited to join the Rally.
Clean Election prayer rally in Mkg
Mokokchung, February 2 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, a Clean Election Prayer Rally will be held on February 7 from Local Ground to Police Point main town Mokokchung, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The DC & DEO Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, has informed that the rally is organised by Ao Baptist Pastor Fellowship Mokokchung in collaboration with District Administration & District Election Officer Mokokchung, under Systematic Voters Education & Electoral Participation (SVEEP). Therefore, the general public has been requested to participate in the rally.
DC Kohima informs village council chairmen
Kohima, February 2 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and DEO Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed village councils and land owners that in view of the General Election to the State Legislative Assembly, 2023, the Telecom Service Providers in the State have reported about restrictions from village councils and land owners on running of generators during power cuts which in turn has affected the running of the network system. The DC has requested all the chairmen of the village councils and landowners under Kohima district to abstain from putting any sort of restriction on the running of generators during power cuts so as to avoid disruptions in internet and telecommunication services.
Revision of rates of interest on GPF, CPF, AISPF etc
Kohima, February 2 (MExN): The Nagaland State Government has fixed the rates of interest accruing on GPF/CPF/AISPF etc. at 7.1% for the period of January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023. A notice issued through the DIPR stated that the Finance Department, Government of Nagaland has notified this in accordance with the rates of interest on GPF/CPF/AISPF etc. fixed by the Government of India.
